BeIN Sports Frequency and satellite changes – November 2015 — 13 Comments

  1. I bought 2.4m dish but still could not get Es hailsat signal in Yobe – Northern Nigeria. Does that means i will have to get something like 3m or bigger. Thanks for the help

  2. hi i live here in Ethiopia my question is how can i watch barclays premier legue with a dish in nilesat free in my home or free highlights

    • Ethiopia is not included in MENA, so BeIN Sports is not officially available to you – unless you can find a dealer.
Supersport is the official EPL broadcaster for Ethiopia, so they will have dealers who can supply you with official viewing cards

    • MENA is an acronym referring to the Middle East and North Africa region. The MENA area covers a region extending from Morocco to Iran, including all Middle Eastern and Maghreb countries (Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Yemen, United Arab Emirates, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Israel, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Syria).

So MENA does not include Nigeria.

  3. Am in Ethiopia watching all the sport channels but the fox n nat geo channels seems to be not workin on the new frequency on es’hail sat any info please??????

    • No signal: – Do you have the correct frequency? Is your dish aligned correctly?
Signal but no channel : contact BeIN or your provider to see if it is a problem with your subscription or viewing card.

    • Given you are just off the coast of Africa, and BeIN Covers the MENA region, it should be no problem to receive their channels there

  4. Advert

    • BBC World Arabic is on
      Hot Bird 13B 11727 V / 27500 / 3/4
      Hot Bird 13D 11117 V / 27500 / 3/4
      Badr 4 11996 H / 27500 / 3/4
      Intelsat 19 12646 H / 28066 / 3/4
      Nilesat 102 12207 V / 27500 / 3/4
      Anik F3 11911 L / 20000 / 3/4
      beIN Channel 204

      BBC World News is on
      Hot Bird 10 12597 V / 27500 / 3/4
      Hispasat 1C 12012 V / 27500 / 3/4
      Astra 1L 11597 V / 22000 / 5/6
      Badr 4 12073 H / 27500 / 3/4 (SD)
      11785 V / 27500 / 3/4 (HD)
      Nilesat 101 11766 H / 27500 / 3/4

so it depends which satellite you can receive where you are

  5. I’ve recently bought a new reciever with Bein Sports subscription in Egypt. I’m trying to activate in UK on Nilesat 7.0W. I was told by my guy who sold me the setup in Egypt to switch to EsHailsat to perform an update which will allow the device to continue working from Nilesat (it currently isn’t working). I just went through a lot of effort to set up my dish (1.2m Triax) to Nilesat and was wondering if I could just go somewhere with a EsHailsat connection to perform the update.
