Official : Freesat to get three new UKTV channels.
Freesat has today confirmed the arrival of three new channels on to its service, but an exact launch date has not been announced.
UKTV’s Really, Yesterday and Drama channels will launch “later this month”.
It is expected that these channel’s will be available on Freesat on the following channel numbers : Drama will launch on channel 162, Yesterday on 163 and Really on 164.
These channels are currently available on Freeview and Sky subscription.
Dave, another UK TV channels, and the “+1” and “HD” versions of the channels will remain part of the SKy subscription service.

We are thrilled to boost our offering with the launch of three new entertainment channels from UKTV. More than 200 free-to-air TV channels, and more than 60 entertainment channels, are available on Freesat, ensuring viewers are spoilt for choice, without the monthly costs.
The channels will launch on the service this month. Their LCN numbers will be: Drama – 162, Yesterday – 163 and Really – 164.
In December, viewers can enjoy channel premieres such as Call the Midwife (Drama), Louis Theroux: Behind Bars (Really) and Medieval Murder Mysteries (Yesterday), as well as epic films such as Captain Webb (Drama).
UKTV, which reaches more than 42 million viewers a month, reported record-breaking viewing figures and revenue in its most recent annual results. Really recently achieved its best ever share of viewing with a Most Haunted Live special on Halloween night.

I have a house in North Sardinia which previously had all SKY Freesat channels via a SKY freesat card.
When astra changed we lost most but have retained a couple of minor channels including SKY News.
My dish is 1.3M and I would like someone to look at it to see if it can be repositioned (or upgraded to a bigger dish) so that we can enjoy full Freesat again.

In Sardinia you will need at least a 2m or 3m or 4m dish to receive the UK Freesat channels – I cannot say exactly as where I am based the signal levels are very different – repositioning your current dish will make no difference.
As I am based in Valencia, I think that you are slightly out of my service area, so I doubt I can help you out anymore.
