Sky Receiver Decoder Digibox - Pace DS440 / DS445

There are four types of Sky digibox that look exactly the same, as in the above picture. Two from Pace (DS440 and DS445), one from Thomson (DSI4214),and one from Amstrad (DRX550).

The Pace DS440 and Pace DS445 Sky Digiboxes are not the best boxes for use with big satellite dishes for the reception of the weaker BBC or ITV frequency channels. These satellite boxes are, however, good to use for small satellite dish installations.

Pace DS440NB and DS445ND Digibox for all your old favourites, BBC, ITV, CH4, Ch5 & Sky with the user friendly on screen Sky Guide, widescreen output & digital quality stereo sound. Not only does it have great picture quality, its features include two RF outputs for linking with a VCR and a second TV, a choice of composite or RGB video outputs and analogue audio outputs for integration into home theatre or stereo systems. And it's all presented in a high quality robust case.

Know what your children are watching Use your PIN to ensure your kids only watch what's suitable.

With many shows you can add subtitles or an audio description, too.

RF Output - To connect the set-top box to TVs & VCRs without a SCART connector.
2nd RF Output - Enables a second TV in the home to receive the decoded satellite channels. The output also supports a "magic eye", allowing the user to remotely control the set-top box from another room.
TV A/V SCART - Provides either composite or RGB and composite video output. Audio volume can also be controlled in software.
VCR A/V SCART - Can provide on-screen graphics to the VCR if required and inputs to the connector can be routed to the TV SCART when the unit is in standby.
