    Wireless Multiswitch Option?

I live on an urbanisation consisting of 100 detached villas each standing on plots of over 500 sq.m.
Everyone is now looking at satellite options. If we were a small community with trunking everywhere we could possibly go down the route of fewer dishes and multiswitches. However, every post that mention this option only talks about hard cabling. This would only work for an immediate neighbour scenario here.
Is there a mutiswitch product that could connect wirelessly, say across a road? We'd like to reduce the number of dishes if possible.

    Re: Wireless Multiswitch Option?

as far as i am aware there is no multiswitch option that would do this - i can see a few issues with such a system - it would effectivly be rebroadcasting - the amount of data flowing through a switch to supply say 10 tvs would be huge and would not goive a good piture quality - interference from other frequencies (microwaves are huge culprites of these!)

cabling via the truncing would be my prefered option on this also....cableing can normally only go for 100 - 200m before it gets really noticable in signal loss...
