    hi,

firstly i think a 1.4 dish could be just a bit too small for your area to get bbc and itvs on a good consistent basis.

if the cable is good quality, and there are no breaks /joins in the cable, and there are no sharp corners int he cable, then up to 70plus meters will be ok....it is only then that i have noticed deterioration in the signals.

or fourse the quality of reception depends on many other things, LNB type, receiver type, location, clear line of sight, etc

    hi

you would need a 1.8 or even better a 2.4m dish.
these two dishes use different ground stands, the 1.8 uses a 8cm diameter stand, and the 2,4 uses a 10cm diameter stand.
expect to pay about 700 euros and 1200 euros for the dishes to be installed.
