Novak Djokovic is the defending men’s singles champion.

Garbiñe Muguruza is the defending women’s singles champion.

UK TV coverage for the 2017 French Open will be available on ITV1, ITV3 and ITV4. The mens’ and women’s singles finals will be broadcast live on ITV. ITV have the UK broadcast rights for the French Open until the 2018 tournament.

Rafael Nadal defeated Novak Djokovic in the men’s singles final to win his 9th French Open title and his 14th Grand Slam title.

Maria Sharapova won the women’s singles, defeating Simona Halep to win her second French Open title and her 5th Grand Slam title.

UK TV coverage for the 2014 French Open will be available on ITV1, ITV3 and ITV4. Due to ITV4′s coverage of the final week of the Indian Premier League cricket tournament, the first five days of the French Open will be shared across ITV4 and ITV3, with the rest of the tournament on ITV4, while the mens’ and women’s singles finals will be broadcast live on ITV. ITV have the UK broadcast rights for the French Open until the 2018 tournament.
