BeIN Sports Frequencies Changes November 2014
On Sunday 1st November 2014, BeIN Sports changed some of their channel frequencies and the satellites they operated on.
If your satellite dish is aligned to Nilesat at 7 West, then you will have lost BeIN Sports 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15.
These BeIN Sports channels (BeIN Sports 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15) are now only available on their satellites at 25.5 east, Es’Hailsat.
If your satellite dish is already aligned to Es’Hailsat at 25.5 East (or Badr at 26 east), then you will also need to perform a rescan of channels, as some of the BeIN Sports channels have changed their frequencies also.
An 80 or 90cm satellite dish should be able to receive the BeIN Sports channels on Es’Hailsat with no problems.
It is though that these changes have been made to make it harder for people in the UK to receive these BeIN Sports channels, which show every English Premier League football match live and in full HD, as the Es’Hailsat signals are said to be harder to receive in the UK, where as the Nilesat signals are easier to receive in the UK.
The frequency changes for the BeIN Sports channels on Es’Hailsat and Nilesat are detailed below:
BeIN Sports Frequencies ES’HAILSAT (25.5° E)
BeIN Sports Frequencies NILESAT (7° W)
