Thomson DSI4214 Sky Digibox

Sky Receiver Decoder Digibox – Thomson DSI4214

Thomson DSI4214 sky digibox

There are four types of Sky digibox that look exactly the same, as in the above picture. Two from Pace, the Pace DS440 and the DS445, one from Thomson (DSI4214),and one from Amstrad (DRX550).

I, and other installers, have found these to have very poor tuners, and do not receive the weaker channels as long as the Thomson. They are also prone to component failure. A very poor receiver for Spain from Pace.

Not only does it have great picture quality, its features include two RF outputs for linking with a VCR and a second TV, a choice of composite or RGB video outputs and analogue audio outputs for integration into home theatre or stereo systems. And it is all presented in a high quality robust case.
