Ondara is an agricultural small village with a population of about 6.000, in the Comunidad Valenciana, Spain.
It is located 100 km from Alicante (Alacant) and Valencia (València) and 7 km from Dénia. It has a population of about 35.000
To the south of Ondara are the towns of Denia, Pedreguer, La Jara, Els Poblets and El Verger. To the north of Ondara are Oliva and Gandia. Even further inland are the similar sized towns of Orba and Pego. Other towns close by are Javea, Moraira and Gandia, where a part of the Papa Borja family, moved in the 15 century.
Ondara is now the location for the Portal de La Marina – this is a huge shopping mall with many well-known retailers.
The Portal de La Marina shopping centre enjoys direct accesses from all the roadways surrounding it, making for an uncomplicated and straight drive to arrive at the complex. It is close to the AP-7 toll motorway and to the N332 natioanl road.
