If you have recently been losing your channels on NIlesat then I know the reason.

Mnay of the channels are transfering onto another satellite, again at 7w.

One such channels is the popular fatafet cooking channel. Another is MBC Persia.

The new satellite, Atlantic Bird 4, has a much smaller footprint than the Nilesat satellites, and many channels from the Nilesat satrellites will be moving over to the Atlantic Boird Satellite.

Early reception reports for this new footprint suggest then an 80cm dish will not receive AB4, and that even with a 1.1m dish you may struggle.

Should even more channels, like the MBCs, move then it may be an idea to realign your dish to Arabsat 26.
