Wednesday 6 January 2010, Sky Sports Xtra will change its name to Sky Sports 4.

This has been in the pipeline for a number of months, as Sky SPorts Xtra was just like it said, and extra Sports Channel. But with the increased amounts of sports Sky have aquired, they will change this to an actual Sky Sports Channel.

No news on a HD version yet but I am sure it will come.
