This morning a few select users who applied, have had a new style Sky HD EPG Programme guide downloaded to their Sky+HD and Sky HD boxes.

Sky allows these few users to have the new EPG for them to test the functionality and to try and sort out any bigs in the new EPG before it is deployed to all users later this year.

The new style EPG is very similar to that used by Sky Italia.
The text and graphics have been sharpened up.
A few new search functions and icons have been added, for quick linking to certain genres of channels.
There are 8 channels listed and not 6 channel listed on the guide when the mini TV is switched on.
