“The Counselor” is a new Ridley Scott’s thriller, with Brad Pitt, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Antonio Banderas, Cameron Diaz and Michael Fassbender. “The Counselor” is about a man who finds himself on the wrong side of the mob after he gets involved with drug trafficking.

Some scenes of the movie were shot in Spain, with the filmmakers using a luxury villa in the Monte Pego Urbanisation near Denia on the Northern Costa Blanca. The luxury villa is located at the top ofMonte Pego Urbanisation with panoramic views.

The filming was also carried out in the municipality of Jumilla, Murcia (Costa Calida). TheTown Halll gave permission to film in areas in the northern part of the municipality, amongst the vineyards on agricultural tracks and within the town hall building itself.
