Channel 5 has announced plans for a new 24-hour catch-up channel.

Channel 5 +24 will repeat the previous day’s primetime programmes, along with a selection of other recent shows

The previous day’s output from 7pm to around midnight-1am will be repeated the following day at the same time.

The new service will launch on Tuesday, February 4.

Channel 5 +24’s new slots will be:

Freeview – 55
Freesat – 132
Sky – 175
