ITV has rolled-out two further HD regions on Freesat.
ITV1 HD Central (West) and ITV1 HD Meridian (SE) variants will be available on Freesat channel 119.
There are now four ITV 1 HD regions available:
•Border, Granada, Tyne Tees and Yorkshire ITV1 regions will receive ITV HD Granada. There’s no change to the ITV HD service on Freesat.
•Central, Wales, West and Westcountry ITV1 regions will receive ITV HD Central (W) with West Midlands regional news on channel 119 instead of London.
•Anglia and Meridian ITV1 regions will receive ITV HD Meridian (SE) with news from the south east on channel 119 instead of London.
•London ITV1 region remains as it was, receiving ITV1 HD London.
Some Freesat set top boxes may need a reboot to ensure you have the correct ITV1 HD region.
Some Freesat set top boxes may need a new Freesat channel scan to restore the correct ITV1 HD region.
It my also be worth while checking any scheduled recordings, which may need to be set up again.
