BBC One Oxford and BBC One East West were removed from Freesat on Monday 16th January 2023
BBC One Oxford and BBC One East West have removed from Sky (101 and 965 and 962) today, Tuesday 17th January 2023.
BBC One Oxford viewers will now receive local news from the
BBC One South region.
BBC One East West will now receive local news from the BBC One East region.
BBC One East E has now been renamed BBC One East.
All part of the BBCs plans to move to HD broadcasting for all BBC regions (see my post HERE )
Update : in addition, BBC1 South West has migrated on from 10.818 V to 10.773H
Update 2 : Frequency 12422 H 27500 2/3 DVB-S QPSK is the frequency that will carry the BBC SD channels until April 2023. It carries just one general BBC One and BBC 2 service, and will not have regional news. This is the frequency that all SD Freesat and Sky digiboxes will look at when their regional services close to make room for the HD regional services.
