Sky are about to launch a new EPG for their latest version Sky+ receivers and all HD receivers. It is expected to be rolled out during April and May. The download and installation will occur automatically.
The changes are as a result of canvassing opinions of their users to make the most of the EPG data and style.

The new EPG will be deliverd to Sky HD after the summer 2008. There has been a few delays in the developemnt of the software, but there have been a few videos of this new software working.
The new EPG has been designed to high definition standards, with a much easier programme listing, a preview screen, and no background music (as requested by many Sky customers!)
