The Samsung SKy HD+ box is one of the latest Sky HD boxes available.
With over 50 High Definition channels now available on the Sky UK TV platform, this box is a must if you want to watch the latest movies and drams and live sport in stunning crystal clear 1080 digital high definition. Many HD channels also provide a Dolby Digital soundtrack.
This is the latest model from Samsung and have a 500gigabyte hard drive - with a massive 250gigabytes for your own personal recordings, meaning it can store around 60 hours of HD programming and around 250 hours of standard definition programmes. The remaining 250gigabytes are used for Sky Anytime, the "on demand" service.
The Samsung SKy HD box has a very good tuner inside, and performs as good, if not better, than the legendary Pace 2600.
You can watch BBCHD, BBC1 HD, ITV1 HD, C4 HD, and Five HD with no monthly subscription.
However, you do need a Sky subscrption to activate the hard disk drive recording features of the SKy HD+ box.
To watch the Sky HD channels a £10 per month "HD subscription" is required.
