You can try and do it yourself.
But without a signal meter it will be tricky, and will not be accurate.
Use

to get a general direction.
But if you want to have a go:
make sure the sky box has its default transponder set to 12207
go to the signal test screen.
slowly move the dish until you see the signal.
When at its maximum tighten the nuts and bolts.
Then its trial and error to max the signal...
Remember a 1mm movement of the dish here on Earth can mean a large distance 36000kms up in space...where the satellites are located...hence small movements.
Copying another dish does not always work - are you sure that their dish is pointing towards the UK TV satellites? Copying it by eye and getting the correct direction is almost impossiable!!
