sky + box will not work

Hello sat and pc guy
I have an Amstrad sky + box and when we tried it a couple of months ago it worked.
Now when connected up to the dish it wont work at all
Normally the date alters right away but even that stays the same,and a "no signal " message appears.
Our other sky digi box works fine. any ideas why it wont work please ?

I also note that you use a Technomate...which is the best model , and do they have the Humax facility that allows you to use only one sat cable
yet record one program and watch another (although I know that its limited)
