Just set up my motorized dish 1.2m & dreambox 600
Could you point me in the direction of what sat, will give me the
Strongest signal here in Spain using the TV as my tuner

forgive me but i am not too sure what the question is...?
can you be more specific?

however....for UK TV astra 2c and eurobird1 are the strongest satellites for UK TV...astra2d being the weakest (where bbc and itv are)

This set-up is in Spain

Set the motor to 38% pole aligned true !!!!
Pointing true south and moving the whole thing but will not pickup any sats ??
Have had the AGR up to 80 to 98 %
The SNR just stays at 64 % is this some thing to do with the LNB ?????
might be knackered
The BER don’t do much looking at it now reads 16448 ?
don’t have a sat finder!!!! trying to align it from the Tv
Now I have bean told the motor set to 30 % dish set to 24 %

ideally you need a sat finder - you cannot really do it with just a tv and receiver...its just no accurate enough...even a beeper is not rally ideal, but will do.
then get the reciver and motor to locate zero.
the get the receiver to move to a nice and easy satellite (asta or hotbird are good, but maybe one like THOR at 1 degree and close to south will get you a much better alignment)
align the dish
lnb should be literally 12 to 6 o clock - no skew angle at all

if your receiver does usals then just programm the coordinate into the receiver and it should do the work for you...

there are one or two guides to motor set up...just do a google search..
