Use of Dish

Hello I live in Almeria and like everyone else have lost BBC and ITV channels on a 1.2 dish

Could the dish be used to receive any other satellite signals

Hi and welcome,

you have lost BBC and ITVs as your 1.2m dish is now too small to receive those channels.
there are reports that a 1.8m dish receives them fine, but it does depend exactly where you are in Almeria.

But yes, the dish can be used to receive signals from other satellites...there are many around, but not many in English....
maybe look at the MBCs and Fox on BAdr at 26 east or Nilesat 7 west
