Best set top box

Not sure if I am in the correct forum but here goes

My Humax Foxsat HD box is on its way out I have the latest Sky+HD box over here in the UK and am bringing it out to Spain next year but I seem to remember I need two inputs from the LNB for it to function correctly, but not sure.

My questions Do I need two LNB feeds to use the box? and what is the best box to replace my Ageing Foxsat HD?

I am connected to our community satellite dish so only have one feed from that but have my own 1.9 dish also with a quad LNB that I share with my neighbour, and have two feeds into my property.

Would like my new box to have all the latest gizmos like On demand and linked to my broadband etc

You need two cable input feeds should you wish to record one channel and watch another channel at the same time.

Receivers will work with one cable feed, but this watch one record another at the same time will not be available.

This is the same for either a Sky+HD box or a Freesat+HD (recording) box.

Most Freesat+HD and Sky+HD boxes "have all the latest gizmos" - but to use them in SPain you will need a UK IP address, using a VPN service like https://www.hidemyass.com/vpn/r15261/
