freesat in spain

Can I use a freesat box to access tv channels in Chiclana costa de la Luz?:

Hi, and welcome.
A Freesat box allows the reception of the main "free to air" UK TV channels like BBC ITV C4 and Five's.
And many other less popular channels.

However, where you are in Spain, the beam that the BBC ITV C4s and Fives is transmitted on will make it very hard for you to actually receive those channels...unless you have a very very large satellite dish, about 5m from reception reports in that area....

Thanks for that, I probably wont bother to get a dish that big. Maybe wait until it becomes easier to access.

Well since this batch of satellites is expected to last 12-15 years, you will be waiting for a while, and then there will be no guarantee that the next batch will be any better...
