    Hi and welcome,

ATR is on one frequency and one frequency only - an astra 2b north beam, which can be a bit weak in Spain, especially mid afternoon.

There are no alternate frequencies for ATR - why do you think there should be ?

Alternate and multiple frequencies are used for BBC, ITV, C4 and Five to allow them to show advertising to specific areas of the UK, and for local news and weather. And used for Sky 1, and Sky Sports 1 for Irish subs and advertising and broadcast rights issues.

I note from the frequency change logs it has only just moved onto this frequency in the last month or so. IF you are able to receive the ITVs on 12402 frequency then you should have no issues with ATR on its current frequency - they are on the same beam.

Although saying that I have it loud and clear on my 80cm dish at the moment, where as 2a north beams (Sky Sports News, ES2) are not available. So this confirms that the 2b North beams are easier to receive than the 2a north beams.

Although this will depend on your exact location and dish size, important information that help us in resolving issues, that you have not posted.

Someone else recently posted on here that in the Torrevieja areas he no longer gets ATR on his 1.4m dish...that could be down to his dish size and location, or alignment issues.

The north beams frequencies tend to be weakest at about 5pm in the afternoon.
