1.3 High Gain Dish

Hello, hope you can help,

I keep reading in various CB newspapers about a Sky Digital System with a 1.3 High Gain dish that will pick up most of the UK channels, and will receive them in the Torrievieja area, is this true.

it totally depends what you want to watch -

if you are in the torre area then a dish like a 1.35 or 1.45 will get you bbc and itv but not on a consistent basis, and not bbc2 or c4
a 1.8 or greater will get you bbc and itv on a more consistant basis - bbc2 and c4 may not be available 24/7.

if you dont care for bbc or itv and just sky, then the dish will get about 75% of the pay channels....

in my area some 1.2s can bet some bbc1 and itv1 for a few hours a day...but for consistebnt viewing a 1.8m is required....
