never heard of them but the dish looks like a version of the 1.35 offsets that are sold in spain...
it looks like they only do a 1.2....

http://www.costablancatechnology.com replied to an e mail from me offering a 1.5m heavy duty 'satchaser' with twin lnb @ euro 295 ?
ah yes the same company that are selling, what in many installers opinion, is one of the worst makes of dish for spain - the maplin 1.8 and 2.4 segment petal dishes.
and a company who has only just started to advertise that they sell dishes - coincidence with the timing of TM problems - are they making a quick buck by selling the poor cheap quality dishes to unsuspecting clients who think "its a 2.4 and so it will performs as good as a portuguese 2.4 dish". reports vary has to how bad these dishes are: from "poor" to "crap" to "a 1.35m dish performs better than the petal 2.4" to "it was bending out of shap in 60km winds and has never been the same since" to "it was rusting after 2 months" to "wish i had followed advise from a real installer and not gone for this dish - cheap price cheap dish"
ADVICE to anyone thinking of getting a dish - get it from someone who has been installing and suppling for a few months - you can tell whos been around for a while by getting newspapers from a few months ago...
i digress....
as per the link to the official satchaser site i provided - they only do one dish....the 1.2...so i do not know where they are getting the 1.5's from...a quick google search of "satchaser 1.5" brings up two sites where they cannot identify a 1.5 and another satchaser site with the 1.2 model...

Once again, many thanks.
Apart from the colour of the recommended Portuguse Famaval dishes being grey (light or dark grey ??), are there any other distinguishing features such as manufacturers name ("Famaval") and/or "made in Portugal" written on the dish ?
The 1.9m dish I'm having installed will be light grey (saw one the the top of installers van when he called for site visit).
Thanks
i thnk the only other difference between the makes of dishes it the actual stand and support for the dishes.
i have seen one make of 1.8m dishes with an all metal support ring (portugal famaval dishes) and other dishes using a white support ring.
