    A few answers to your competent questions.

    The failure on Intelsat transponders is so serious that all services had to be removed.

    In our negotiations with Eutelsat we are looking for a paneuropean footprint that can provide a coverage area even wider than before.
    At this stage we canŽt establish a firm date for restart of service,but we are confident it will be in a short time.

    All clients will have their dish realigned for free.

    Thanks for the clarification.

    Just reading back over this thread, you stated you had a 3 year contract with Intelsat.

    Surely under this contract they would have to find a new transponder for you on either the current satellite or one of their other birds (would be interesting to see your feed alongside the arquiva freeview feed on Intelsat 907!!!). Or is it that there is no more room on this bird?

    Intelsat905 is not reliable anymore.
    And Intelsat907 does not have the paneuropean footprint necessary for our service,a relevant condition of our 3 years contract.
    So as Intelsat is not able to fulfil the conditions,the contract is no longer valid.

    So 34 posts later and people are left paying out (Again) for a illegall service . May i just say that the expat community are prety damm stupid day after day i see people paying the likes of MDC for these illegal services (re-broadcasting) they have seen the warnings but choose to ignore them all I have just seen a contact from swiss cable regarding its services. If you agree to that well i think the aliens have been at you in the night. its like the idiots that drive round in there uk reg cars then its the police's fault when they get stopped. Good luck to them all they must have money to burn. Many wont agree but all these people are are Con men, sorry but its the truth.

    Perhaps you could be so kind as to post a copy of the swiss cable contract on here so that we can all see what you are refering to....? Would be interesting to see what conditions they have....

    And although I too am against these principles of these rebroadcast systems, (terrestrial or satellite), at the end of the day it is up to the clients as to what system they decide to go for...even if they have heard all the disadvantages about these services. It is a shame if they do end up losing their money, but in the end it was their decision to go for "an illegal service", especially when there has been so much discussion about it in the press, and is the generaly topic of conversation for most expats, since the issues lsat year with Telmicro.

    Just to clarify our service is fully legal,and we are a registered company with all IVA and other duties paid for.

    Not a good thing to generalize and consider everyone the same.

    Hi,

    I see that one of your main suppliers for the system in the east med area has closed his website.

    uktvdirect.com has a nice closed graphic on it.

    I dont know if this is temporary or premanent, but does not give good signs considering the assurances the chap pushing this site was giving.

    Any more news on when your new satellite deal is expected....its been over a month now that your clients have not had a system...and fast approaching the top TV watching time.
