Hi my first post hope this is the correct place for it.

I have a Grundig Sky digi box with Freeview card paid for in the UK, I have had this for some time but it was working in the UK up to three weeks ago when I moved here, what else would I need to get any freeview channels over here.

My Urbanisation has Spanish Digital which I receive through my digital TV and Spanish Analogue as well as the now useless Telmicro QP metal dish.

firstly you cannot get freeview in spain

if you want to use your sky receiver you will need a satellite dish pointing at the corrcet stellites - 28.2 to 28.5 degrees.
then the size of the dish will be determined on where you are and what channels you want - 1.8m or 2.4m dish
you may find yuor community may be in the process of getting a big dish for bbc, itv and c4 if the community was on a tm rebroadcasting sigal - which has been shut off. speak to neighbours about what they are doing - you will not be able to have yur own personal dish in a community - they just wont allow it

Thanks for the reply yes our Urb is looking to get a big dish, so I would be able to use my box and card if we went for 'freesatfrom Sky' system and a 2.4 metre dish, boy thats big.
