    Dish Re-alignment

Do you need to have your dish re-aligned regularly and if so what sort of time scale do you recommend please?

    Re: Dish Re-alignment

It should not need to be done regularly, but you must think that strong winds may blow the dish out of alignment, and heavy rain can destablize a concrete base and make the dish "drop" in alignment, and even when the dish is accidently knocked. I would even say that the small earthquakes we have in Spain can cause the dishes to move...

Generlaly, if reception drops significantly, get someone to realign it.

    Re: Dish Re-alignment

Once again many thanks for your invaluable advice. A local 'cowboy' told me I should have it done at least once a year at 60 euros a go.

My signal has niot changed since we had the dish installed so I wondered why he told me it probably needed doingot changed since we had the dish installed so I wondered why he told me it probably needed doing.
