Hello all, I've just found this site. I must first say it's very nice of sat and pc guy to volunteer all his knowledge for free, (you ca'nt say that about the majority of (ex-pat businesses). My question re Freesat,- If I do a re scan of Astra 2 will I get the Freesat channels on my fta Darkbox hd. I have DigiGuide so I am not to worried about EPG. Like you say, typical of some dealers not to tell potential customers (if it is available with your existing box). Thank, Ed.

thanks for your kind words - i try to be as honest as i can in replying to questions, and many times have received word that my advise has stopped people form being ripped off.

On a FTA darkbox HD you will get
all the free TV and radio channels - depending on dish size
all the free HD TV channels - BBC HD (and i think Luxe HD)

Hi Sat&pcguy, thanks a lot for your quick response. (Who needs sky)?. Will be looking for a bigger dish soon & possibly a more powerfull motor to drive it?. Even though I live in Benidorm I will come to you when I am ready to upgrade. It is comforting to deal with someone who appreciates customers more than money. I used to have a motor cycle business in the uk and my motto was "everybody that comes through my shop door is doing me a favour", I am sure that you work along the same principals, it works, and you can sleep peacefully at night.
