Can't get BBC and ITV in the evening

Hi, I have three digiboxs working, 2 Pace 2600's and an Amstrad sky box. on the Pace receivers I can get everything at all times but the Amstrad box will not pick up any BBC channels , apart from the news . It will also not pick up ITV 1-3-4 or channel 4. I have a 1.9 mtr dish with quad lnb. Before I setup the Amstrad I had another Pace which was damaged by a power surge, even though I have surge controllers installed.
Can anyone give me a clue as to what is wrong with the Amstrad box ?

There are many different makes and models of Amstrad boxes, and you do not say which one you have, as you will find that the different makes and models can perform very differently. Some have poor tuners inside and perform very poolrly with weaker signals.

Could be the main tuner in the Amstrad box you are using is not good, or not working correctly.
Or perhaps the output from the LNB feeding the cable was affected by the power surge?
Or there are also cable problems?

Try the Amstrad on a cable that works with the Pace's, at least that will help to identify cable, lnb or receiver problems.
