2.4mtr satellite dish with strange LNB

Hi all, I have a 2.4mtr satellite dish that has a LNB & Feedhorn like I have not seen elsewhere. The 3 supports enter straight into the feedhorn with no adjustment and the Sharp LNB is not a separate unit. I need a new LNB but cannot find a new feedhorn to replace the existing one. Can anyone help.

Perhaps you could upload a photo of the current set up, and your new LNB (or say what LNB you want ot try and fit?), so that we have an idea as to what equipment you have and want to add.

I think I have an idea that you have the "pasat" 2.4m dish, as installers of these dishes used to put Sharp LNBs onto these dishes, and the set up means that changing the LNB for another one can be a problem (especially if you want to replace the Sharp with an Invacom PF LNB!)

It amy be that you have to change the 3 arms, and LNB holde r/ spider, for one that cn accept an invacom LNB and feedhorn, rather than trying to find an LNB feedhorn to adapt to your current set up.

I would like to attached 2 photographs. One of my current LNB and one that belongs to a friend which is similar but he has a 2 piece Invacom Twin LNB which is what I would like to do. How can I achieve it.I cannot work out how to attach them.

(bmp jpegs and jpg files should be no more than 620x620 and with a filesize of less than 20000)

Like I said, if you have one of the "poorer performing than a Famaval 2.4m dish" Pasat "Turkish" 2.4m dish, then you will have to change the whole LNB support assembly, to make it work with an invacom LNB and feedhorn combination. If you want to use an INvacom LNB / Feedhorn combination then you are basically needing to swap your exisiting LNB holder / spider to one that is on the Famaval dishes.
