Important Sky TV and Freesat TV Channel Frequency changes and updates

This thread will list some of the channel frequency changes for UK satellite TV channels.
It will NOT list every channel and every channels frequency setting change, just the important ones.

It is expected that quite a few UK satellite changes will be changing their frequencies inthe enar future, especially with the launch and activation of Astra 1N, a new satellite that will provide UK TV along with the other exisiting satellites Astra 2a, Astra 2b,m Astra 2d and Eurobird 1.

BBC News will move to new frequency 10803 H 22000 5/6
BBC Alba will move to new frequency 10818 V 22000 5/6
BBC Parliament will move to new frequency 10788 V 22000 5/6

The BBC streams will move to frequency 11954 h 27500 2/3

It looks like Channel 4 HD will be moving from its current frequency of 12607 V 27500 3/4 to a new frequency on the new Astra 1N satellite.

The new frequency for Channel 4 HD is 11127 V 22000 2/3 DVB-S2 8PSK

Sky HD and Freesat HD digiboxes should automatically update themselves with these new Channel 4 HD frequency settings. It is expected that this change in Channel 4 HD frequency settings will take place in the first week of November 2011.

In Agust 2011, the following channels changed frequencies.

Bliss, Chart Show, Dance Nation, Flava, Kix!, NME, Pop, Pop Girl / +1, Scuzz, The Vault, Tiny Pop / +1 , True Ent, True Movies 1, True Movies 2

The new frequency for these channels will be 11307V 27500 2/3

Channel 4 HDs new frequency is now 11123 V 22000 2/3

This was changed week commencing 21st November 2011.

with the impending move of the "Five" channels going free to air (see http://www.satandpcguy.com/forum/sho...be-free-to-air) it is expected that they too will be changing frequencies in the run up to that change.

Their new frequency is / will be

Frequency: 10965 horizontal symbol rate 22000 fec 5/6

The Channel Fives are now located on the new frequency of 10965 H 22000 5/6

This should be able to be received on many smaller satellite dishes (80cm -1m) in our area with no problems.

ITV1 Central South and ITV1 Central E have moved to frequency 11053 H 22 5/6.

They moved from their okld frequeny of 11973 v 27.5 2/3.

If you accessed these ITV1 regions from your "Other Channels" list, then you will have to re add them.

SyFi and SyFi+1 channels on Sky TV UK have changed frequencies.
New frequency 11307 H SR 27500 FEC 2/3

These channels have also changed their beam on Eurobird, so reception may not be the same as it used to be on its previous frequency

Some mre ITV1+1 channels have just started on frequency 11053 h 22 5/6
This Astra 1N frequency now carries

ITV 1 Central South
ITV 1 Central East
ITV 1 Wales +1
ITV 1+1 Tyne Tees
ITV 1+1 West
