MBC 2 on Arabsat and Nilesat
MBC 2 was launched on 12th January 2003. A high definition version of the channels launched 1st July 2011.
MBC 2 is a 24 hour film channel, based in the United Arab Emirates. It broadcasts mainly American Hollywood movies, but it also, occasionally features British, Canadian, French, Indian, Chinese and other foreign films. MBC 2 has long-term deals with several top Hollywood studios, securing first-run right and ensuring a steady flow of the top box-office movies.
MBC is a group of free to air channels provide many films and tv programmes in English. There are four channels that show action drama and movies during the day. However the only drawback being that they do have Arabic subtitles!
There are also high definition versions of the MBC channels available on Arabsat (Badr) and Nilesat, however these are encrypted and require a subscription
MBC 2 Reception in Spain
MBC2 is available on both Arabsat /Badr (26 east) and Nilesat (7 West).
The signals can be picked up in Spain on an 80cm satellite dish.
We can supply and install the required satellite dish and satellite receiver for the reception of the MBC channels on Arabsat (Badr) and Nilesat.
