German TV on satellite comes in two forms, free and pay tv.
There are many free German TV channel available on satellite.
The main Pay TV satellite provider in Germany is Sky Deutschland (or Sky Germany).
Most of the German channels are transmitted from the Astra 19.2°E satellite position, using the Astra 1K, Astra 1L, Astra 1M and Astra 1N satellites
