How to format the Hard Disk Drive in a Sky+HD digibox
If you need to format the hard disk drive in your Sky+ HD box, then this can be done by the buttons on the top of the Sky+HD box.
Note that when doing this process, it can take around two minutes of button pressing before the process starts.

Instructions
Switch off the power at mains or pull the mains cable out of the back of the Sky+HD box
Hold both the LEFT & RIGHT buttons on the top of the box
Whilst continuing to hold the buttons, switch on the power or plug the power cord back in & wait for blue ring to illuminate
Release the LEFT & RIGHT buttons, press SELECT
The blue ring cycles backwards while disk is quick formatted
Box goes into standby – wait 30 seconds to wake it up by pressing the
