Albaida Valencia Spain
Albaida is a town in the Vall d’Albaida area Comunidad Valenciana, Spain.
In 2006 the population was 6,273,and falling to 5,950 in 2008 and rising to 6031 in 2015.
Albaida can be found just of the CV40 and N340, situated midway between Valencia and Alicante, and only 35 kilometres from the coast. There is also a railway station and a bus service.
The name Albaida is though to come from the Arabic “al-Bayda”, meaning “white”, probably referring to the color of the white soil of the area.
