La Xara is located approximately 4 kilometres from Denia, in the Marina Alta area in the Comunidad Valenciana, Spain.
The town of La Xara has almost all amenities that one would need. Amenities include: Supermarket, banks, chemist, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, dentists, bakery, hairdressers and pretty much everything that would be needed for day to day life.
The Tram railway connects La Xara to Denia and other towns along the coast to Alicante. It is a cheap and a very picturesque way to travel up the coast.
La Xara is also close to the popular Urbanisation La Sella and the La Sella Golf Course.
The Sella Golf Course is at the foot of the Montgo National Park and Mountain; the views are breath-taking from the course with Mediterranean one way and the National park the other.
