Gandia has officially stepped into the festive season with a brilliant opening night that welcomed Christmas to the city in spectacular style. This year’s celebrations were launched in Plaza del Prado, where an impressive crowd gathered to witness the long-awaited switch-on of the Christmas tree and festive lights. Gandia dio la bienvenida oficialmente a la temporada navideña con una brillante noche de apertura que dio la bienvenida a la Navidad a la ciudad de forma espectacular. Las celebraciones de este año comenzaron en la Plaza del Prado, donde una multitud impresionante se reunió para presenciar el esperado encendido del árbol de Navidad y las luces navideñas. El honor recayó en el alcalde, José Manuel Prieto, quien dirigió la ceremonia e iluminó la plaza entre cálidos aplausos de familias, vecinos y visitantes entusiasmados por el inicio de las fiestas.

En cuanto el alcalde pulsó el botón, el árbol de Navidad se llenó de color, iluminando la plaza con un brillo festivo. Arcos decorativos, figuras y luces colgantes se sumaron a la magia, transformando la Plaza del Prado en un alegre centro de espíritu navideño. Los niños jugaban bajo los adornos, la música resonaba por la plaza y la emoción navideña era inconfundible.

Tras el encendido, muchos vecinos se dirigieron a la Plaza Mayor, donde la iluminación navideña del Ayuntamiento, ya instalada y brillante, fue otro de los puntos fuertes de la decoración navideña de Gandia. La luminosa fachada del Ayuntamiento sigue siendo un gran atractivo para fotos, paseos nocturnos y visitas familiares. Su elegante iluminación crea el ambiente navideño perfecto y complementa las celebraciones que comienzan en la Plaza del Prado.

En Gandía, se celebran numerosas actividades festivas. Los visitantes pueden explorar mercados navideños, puestos de artesanía, talleres infantiles, conciertos, belenes y rutas festivas decoradas por toda la ciudad.
