Vintage TV – no longer available on Freesat
Vintage TV, specialising in older music videos and performances has been removed from Freesat, the free-to-air satellite service.
Vintage TV was previously available on Freesat channel number 505.
Vintage TV is staying tight-lipped about the changes, but viewers with Freesat can currently still access Vintage TV using the manual tuning function on their Freesat boxes (technical parameters below).
Freesat has been issuing non-committal responses to enquiries, informing customers that “Vintage TV is not currently available on Freesat”.
Vintage TV is still available on Sky digiboxes – Sky channel 369.

Have manually retuned to the above frequency but still cannot get vintage to on my freesat box! Help please!
Well it has not changed frequency – it is still on the same frequency.
So perhaps you are not manually scanning correctly…?
Or you have done the manual scan correctly, but are trying to look for it on the Freesat list, when any manually tunes channel will appear on the “non freesat” channel list.
It was the first time I have manually tuned but I followed instructions and got 15 channels on that frequency, I then swapped to the non freesat list of channels which was the 15 it found and definitely no Vintage TV there, am at a loss!
Depending on your receiver, it MAY NOT appear as Vintage TV, but as “52180”, its service ID…
