Where to watch Six Nations Rugby on TV in 2025
The Six Nations Championship is one of the biggest and most prestigious rugby tournaments in the world, featuring England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and Wales. Played annually from February to March, this historic competition is a must-watch event for rugby fans globally.
Originally founded in 1883 as the Home Nations Championship, it expanded to include France in 1910 and Italy in 2000, forming today’s Six Nations Rugby. The tournament follows a round-robin format, where each team plays five matches. The team with the most points is crowned champion, with additional honors like the Grand Slam (winning all five games) and the Triple Crown (awarded to a Home Nation defeating the other three).
Historic rivalries make the Six Nations Rugby Championship even more exciting, with iconic trophies such as the Calcutta Cup (England vs. Scotland) and the Millennium Trophy (England vs. Ireland). While England and Wales have historically dominated, Ireland and France have emerged as strong contenders in recent years.
With thrilling matches, passionate crowds, and intense competition, the Six Nations Rugby 2024 promises world-class action. It also plays a crucial role in shaping teams ahead of the Rugby World Cup. Follow the latest Six Nations results, fixtures, and standings for all the action!
