Astra 2H Satellite Signal Footprint Maps
The Astra 2H satellite will be a commercial communications satellite. Astra 2H will be operated by by SES, Luxembourg.
Astra 2H, along with one other new Astra 2 satellites, Astra 2I, will be replacing Astra 2E, Astra 2F and Astra 2G UK TV satellites at 28.2° E.
No predicted signal footprint maps for the Astra 2H satellite have yet been released.
These Astra 2H satellite signal footprint maps are the theoretical signal strengths. The real signal may differ.
Astra 2H satellite will have two beams providing UK TV, a Pan European beam and a UK Spot beam.
You can expect that the main UK TV channels, like BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel Five will be located on the UK Spot beam, in a similar way they were on the previous UK TV satellites.
The majority of the Sky TV pay channels should be expected to be located on the European beam.
