TCM HD to close on Sky
Turner Classic Movies, TCM, will cease the transmission of their HD channel on Sky next week.
On 25th July 2019, TCM HD will cease to be broadcast on Sky channel 315.
However, viewers will continue to be able to receive the standard definition version of TCM in its place on 315.
It is thought this is due to the HD channel being operated on a Sky HD transponder, and as Sky look to consolidate their satellite transponder capacity, the channel has opted not to continue their HD service.
Coincidentally TCM HD is now available to BT TV customers with HD TV packages this month!.
