Super League: BBC to show live games after signing three-year broadcast deal
Super League Rugby for Free on UK TV
Super League matches will be shown live on the BBC for the first time this year, following a three-year broadcast deal with Rugby League Commercial.
The deal means 15 games per season will be shown across the BBC, 10 on network television and the rest across the BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.
The agreement means the BBC will show league matches in addition to the regular Challenge Cup offering.
Castleford Tigers’ home game with champions Wigan Warriors will be the first to be shown on BBC Two from 17:00 GMT on Saturday, 17 February.
From 2022, rugby league returned to free-to-air television with Channel 4 in a two-year deal, which expired at the end of the 2023 season.
