Nine channels suddenly removed from Freesat today
Satellite TV viewers using Freesat across the UK were met with a surprise recently when nine television channels disappeared from their channel lists without warning. If you turned on your Freesat box today and found favourite channels missing, you’re not alone — and the disappearance isn’t due to a technical fault with your receiver, but rather changes in broadcast arrangements and EPG listings.
More information in the video below:

All channels are operated by Narrative Entertainment.
The channels were withdrawn without prior warning.
The channels removed from Freesat today are :
GREAT! tv
GREAT! tv+1
GREAT! action
GREAT! movies
GREAT! romance
GREAT! romance+1
POP
POP Max
Tiny POP
This leaves Freesat with just a few movie channels.
It’s important to note that some of these channels are still actively broadcasting on satellite, and are even listed on other EPG systems such as Sky’s. That means the signal hasn’t necessarily gone off the air — your Freesat box just isn’t recognising them in its official guide.
At the time of writing, the channels are still available on Sky digiboxes.
So , if Freesat users are missing these channels, it is possible to add them to your Freesat box in “non freesat mode”, scanning frequency 11.306 V SR 27500 FEC 5/6 DVBS QPSK
I have no idea if this is a permanent removal, or they just forgot to pay their Freesat fees in time, and so may appear again once they pay their fees?
Update 8 Feb 2024:
Reports are that the channels were removed from Freesat as the carriage agreement with Freesat had come to an end and that Narrative Entertainment decided not to renew it. The channels are still available on Sky, Freeview and Virgin media .

I have no freesat box. My (LG) TV is sat enabled. Can I do something to get these channels?
Scan the frequency that they are on, as given in the post.
They have not change frequencies for many months now, so if you did a channel scan in say the last 6 months, then they will be in your channel list already
I have a Panasonic Freesat TV, I couldn’t find anything in the menu about manual setting of frequencies, only Auto Freesat setup?
Most satellite enabled TVs that I know of have options to manually tune..
What’s going on no IT
No idea what yo mean by “no IT”…
But they simply decided not to renew their carriage agreement on Freesat, say the reports
