Is this the Celebrity Traitors line-up ?
”Celebrity Traitors” is an upcoming British reality TV spin-off of the popular series “The Traitors,” set to air on BBC One. Filming is scheduled for 2025, with Claudia Winkleman returning as host. Celebrity Traitors brings together a diverse group of celebrities to participate in a high-stakes game of deception and strategy. Set in a Scottish castle, the show challenges participants to identify secret saboteurs among them, all while competing for a substantial cash prize. The format is based on the successful Dutch series De Verraders and has already seen popular adaptations in the U.K. and the U.S.
In Celebrity Traitors, contestants are divided into two groups: the “Faithful” and the “Traitors.” While the Faithful aim to identify and eliminate the Traitors, the Traitors work covertly to “murder” the Faithful and avoid detection. Each episode features challenges that add money to the prize pot, and at the end of each day, players gather at the Round Table to discuss and vote out a suspected Traitor. The game continues until either all Traitors are eliminated, allowing the remaining Faithful to share the prize, or the Traitors outnumber the Faithful, claiming the entire pot for themselves.
The series is filmed at the 19th-century Ardross Castle, located approximately 25 miles north of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. This Scottish Baronial-style castle is set within over 100 acres of parkland on the banks of the River Alness. Ardross Castle has served as the filming location for both the UK and US versions of The Traitors, providing a dramatic and picturesque backdrop for the show’s events. Although the castle is not open to the public for overnight stays, it is available for weddings and corporate events.
While the full cast has not been officially confirmed, several names have been reported by various source, with todays Sun newspaper printing a list of expected participants:
