• The regional weather agency raised its alert level to red (extreme risk) for the southern Valencia coast.

• Streets, rail lines, and roads were flooded, while emergency crews worked through the night to rescue stranded vehicles and pump water from low-lying areas.

La noche del 13 de octubre de 2025, el cielo habitualmente tranquilo de Gandía se transformó cuando la tormenta Alice, un potente sistema DANA, desató un espectacular despliegue de rayos y truenos. La ciudad resplandeció bajo la furia eléctrica de la naturaleza: brillantes destellos atravesaron las nubes y profundos y resonantes truenos resonaron desde las montañas hasta el mar.

Este vídeo captura los momentos más intensos de la tormenta: deslumbrantes rayos iluminando la costa, ráfagas de lluvia arrasando la playa y el inconfundible sonido de los truenos sacudiendo la noche.

En un momento dado, cayeron 79 l/m² en menos de una hora, provocando inundaciones repentinas.

La agencia meteorológica regional elevó su nivel de alerta a rojo (riesgo extremo) para la costa sur de Valencia.

Calles, vías férreas y carreteras se inundaron, mientras los equipos de emergencia trabajaron durante toda la noche para rescatar vehículos varados y bombear agua de las zonas bajas.
