Non Freesat Mode

The number of channels currently available on the Freesat EPG (electronic programme guide) does not included ALL of the free UK TV channels that are available.

However that does not mean that they are not available on a Freesat receiver.

But it is possible to view this and all the other free to air (FTA) channels by accessing the manual tune or Non Freesat Mode feature on your Freesat set top box.

Once you have carried out the search (which can take some time!) you will be taken into non Freesat mode, where you can view the channels.

To switch between Freesat and non Freesat mode you need to select the following menu options:

MENU
SETTINGS
STB MODE (press the right arrow to switch between the two modes then press ok)

Obviously the channel numbers between Freesat and Non Freesat Mode will be different. Non Freesat TV channels on a Humax Freesat set top box start from channel number 5000.
