ITV Hub in Spain

ITV Hub, formally ITV Player, is a service that lets you catch up with ITV television programmes from the past week.

ITV Hub is an online video on demand service.

The service offers a variety of programmes from home-grown programming to imports across ITV1, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and CITV.

Some sports programming is available to watch again via the service.

Some programmes, imports and movies are not currently available due to rights issues.

The service was originally called ITV Catch Up but was then rebranded as ITV Player on 5 December 2008 as part of ITV’s aim to create a recognisable and consistent brand for video-on-demand content across the web and TV. ITV Player was rebranded as ITV Hub in 2015.

How to get ITVX in Spain

To watch ITVX (formerly ITV Hub) in Spain, you’ll need to use a reliable VPN such as NordVPN to bypass geo-restrictions. ITVX is only available to viewers in the UK, but a VPN lets you mask your location and access the platform as if you were in Britain.

Here’s how to get ITVX in Spain:

  1. Subscribe to NordVPN and install the app on your device—it’s available for phones, tablets, computers, smart TVs, and more.

  2. Launch the app and connect to a UK server. NordVPN has a large network of high-speed UK servers optimized for streaming.

  3. Visit the ITVX website (www.itv.com) or open the ITVX app.

  4. If you don’t already have an account, sign up for free. You’ll need to enter a UK postcode (e.g., M1 1AE) during registration.

  5. Start streaming popular ITV shows, dramas, and live TV.

NordVPN is a solid choice because it consistently works with streaming services like ITVX, offering fast speeds and strong privacy protection. Many free VPNs can’t bypass ITVX’s detection, but NordVPN’s advanced technology helps avoid blocks and buffering.

While using a VPN to access ITVX from abroad is technically against its terms of service, it’s a common method used by UK travelers to keep up with their favorite content while overseas. NordVPN also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, so you can try it risk-free while abroad.
